Recorded in stunning High Fidelity 24-Bit Audio, at Anthony Bathory's home studio.

Audio Dose III (The Lives That We Chose) is a theme album recorded and released in 2017. The album is a study of the lives that we live inside a “civilized society”. Consumerism, capitalism, addiction, interpersonal relationships, human behavior, as well as religion. It is an examination of modern human nature, our life choices, the drive behind those choices, and our place and purpose in life and in the world.

Audio Dose III was the quickest Audio Dose record ever recorded, the album was tracked mixed and mastered within 2 months. but it was also the hardest. Anthony was very sick at the time the album was being made. He was in and out of hospitals for most of 2016, 2017, and 2018. more songs and a bit more instrumentation was planned, but due to health reason Anthony decided that the record was complete, and we have what we have. We as Audio Dose are probably most proud of this record over all our others.
Audio Dose III was recorded by Anthony Bathory and Kody Carmen alone. They played everything you hear on Audio Dose III minus the drums, played by Reid Clark. Audio Dose III was recorded in three sessions. The first Anthony and Kody record basic tracks for “Lives that we chose”, “Some Say He’s”, “Graveyard Women”, “Rain”, “Jesus and lucifer”, “Rising Sun Blues”, and a unreleased take of “Junky Blues”. The next session they recorded basic tracks for, “Thief to a king”, “Rapist and thieves”, “She Didn’t”, “Put me Down”, “Some Kind of Truth”, and the album version of “Junky Blues”. The third session Reid Clark came and tracked drums for the songs “The Lives That We Chose” and “Some Kind of Truth”. After the release of Audio Dose III, drummer kale Abercrombie joined up with the group and played on the Audio Dose III tour. The tapes from that tour would later become Audio Dose IV, released in may 2020.
